I'm a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Computational modelling and bio-robotics at the University of Macquarie, and a Visiting Fellow with the QUT Centre for Robotics. My research interest lies at the intersection of neuroscience and robotics with neuromorphic computing.

I graduated with a PhD in Neuroscience from the Queensland Brain Institute, University of Queensland in 2023 studying mechanisms of general anaesthesia. In 22', I was a Fulbright Future and the Queensland Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania, Phildaelphia. In 23', I made the switch to robotics engineering with the QUT Centre for Robotics where I developed neuromorphic localisation and mapping algorithms for autonomous robots.

My current research focus is on developing models of honeybee action selection and active vision for autonomous robots.

I'm also a passionate academic for STEMM outreach and advocacy as a Flying Scientist with the Office of Chief Scientist of Queensland and co-chair of the EMCR Brain Sciences Network.
